The number of signatures for Obadiah's dismissal has gone by.

Since the middle of last week, a group of delegates to the Democratic League of Kosovo Assembly has started collecting signatures for calling for an extraordinary meeting, in which requests for the LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhik's dismissal are scheduled to be put in order, writes Periscopi.

According to Periscop sources, from yesterday, where there were about 150 signatures, today the number has gone about 180 -- while this number is expected to exceed 200 in the next hour and days. Sources claim that support for the initiative continues to increase and that the number of signatures is considered sufficient to proceed with the request for the current chairman's dismissal. The LDK Assembly consists of a total of 355 delegates.
Periscop sources within the LDK indicate that close officials with Obadiah are constantly developing contacts with delegates, calling on them not to sign the request for his dismissal.
According to the same sources, very soon the LDK Assembly is expected to be called, where demand for the dismissal of Lumir Abdixhik is expected to be considered by the post of party chairman.
On the other hand, Abdixhiku recently demanded the resignation of LDK Branch Chairman Gazmend Muhajeri, and the chairman of the branch in Lipjan, Imri Ahmeti, considering the results achieved at these branches weak.
However, Abdixhiku had declared earlier that the LDK's regular Assembly will be held in 2027. /Periscope.
