This is the person who allegedly laundered drug money in Italy and who were confiscated property in Kosovo

Kosovo police under the authorisation of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo have conducted an operation in Pristina on June 30th 2026, as a result of which assets worth 1m euros have been seized.
The operation has been carried out under an investigation into transatlantic cleanup of income generated by drug trafficking, carried out by Italian and French authorities co-ordinated by Europol and Eurojust, in close co-operation with the Special Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police.
Inseder newspaper reports through sources within operation that one of the detainees is Dohan Hasani.
The operation represents continuing a major investigation that, in September 2025, led to freezing assets exceeding 30m euros.
At the heart of the operation were two Kosovo citizens living in the province of Alessandria. The couple, now under surveillance by Italian prosecutors, were arrested last September in France after being stopped in a car - on the lower side of the vehicle, the officers discovered over 50kg of high-quality gold lingotas. The analysis of the seized documents and the exchange of judicial information with Kosovo authorities allowed Guardia di Finanza to find and seal the couple's foreign safe, including bank accounts, businesses, real estate and luxury vehicles.
Asset investigation revealed a sophisticated money laundering scheme. Over just ten months, the organisation managed to collect at least 18m euros from drug trafficking revenues in France. Willing money was gradually stored in the home of two suspects in Alexandria and then converted into gold bars and sheets. This crucial phase occurred thanks to the collaboration of specialised operators in the smelting and processing of precious metals located throughout Lombardine and Piemte.
The transformation of cash available in gold served to prevent illegal funding detection and to make the transport of capital abroad much safer, with shipments directed not only to Kosovo, but also to Turkey and Morocco.
