Blagoje Spasojevich lawyer Lubomir Pantovic has said the Pristina Constitutional Court has not resisted great public pressure over these three years to decide on maximum punishment.
“Gjykata did not resist major three-year public pressure to convict defendants with the harshest sentence”, Spasojevic lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic said.
According to Spasojevic and Tolic's lawyers, the “qualifications in the indictment was political and that in this case terrorism is mentioned or any attempt at the North secession, since such a thing is possible to do with 40 persons”, writes Kosovo Online.
While Dusan Maksimovic's defence attorney, Jovana Filipovic, said DNA and other findings were negative and showed that her client had not been in contact with the gun.
“This ruling violates all legal procedures and I am sure that the court of appeal will examine the verdict more carefully and issue a ruling based on law”, Filipovic said.
