Albania finds no comfort, fire speed spread near Tale Beach

Another fire vat has appeared in the reed area near the beach of Tales, in Lezha, including a considerable area.
The flames are favored by the strong wind, where they have spread rapidly along the coastline, burning an area that stretches from about 500 feet [500 m] to about half a mile [1 km].
Lezha fire forces have intervened on the ground, which are facing difficulties due to inadequate terrain.
The presence of marshes between the beach and the fire - involved area makes it impossible to approach fire vehicles near the fireplace.
Some tourist facilities and service are also located near the affected area.
For this reason, fire crews have been put on alert next to them, with the aim of immediate intervention in the event the flames advance and endanger objects.
Agustin Pepkolaj, representative of the General Directorate of Defence from Fire and Salvation, told the media that it has become possible that fire service vehicles are present.
“The fire is spread throughout the territory. Even though the wind is favorable, we have made sure that no business or apartment is at stake. We could've located flames“, he said. /TCh
