Signing meeting for Obadiah dismissal begins

By Wednesday, a group of delegates from the Kosovo Democratic League Assembly has started collecting signatures for calling for an extraordinary meeting, in which requests for the dismissal of President Lumir Abdixhiku are set to be put in order.
According to Periscope sources, up to now about 150 signatures have been collected, claiming that the number will go above 200 demanding Obadiah's dismissal. In all, there are 355 LDK delegates, the number of signatures sufficient for the actual chairman's dismissal.
It is noteworthy that Periscop sources within the LDK have indicated that pro-Adzixhik officials from this party are constantly calling not to sign for his dismissal.
All in the end, the same sources suggest that the week we enter, the Assembly will be called for Abdjik's dismissal.
On the other hand, Abdixhiku demanded the resignation of LDK Branch Speaker in Peja Gazmend Mujajeri, and the chairman of the branch in Lipjan, Imri Ahmeti, as he said the poor result on these branches.
Afterwards, Abdixhiku declared that the LDK Assembly would meet in 2027, at the regular meeting.
After the 28 December elections, Abdixhiku had offered his resignation from the post of party chairman, but on January 31st the LDK Assembly rejected that request.
