The Central Labour Inspectorate has published a 48-hour inspection report conducted under a wide action in high-risk sectors throughout Kosovo's territory.
According to the announcement, the action is under the decision of the MPFVLC Minister and in line with the institution's legal mandate, with the aim of boosting security and respecting labour legislation.
“Central Labour Inspectorate, in the application of the MPFVLC's decision and in accordance with its legal mandate, has undertaken extraordinary inspection action in high-risk sectors across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.
In the report released for the last 48 hours, a total of 38 inspections have been conducted in several municipalities in the country, including Podujevo, Drenas and Gjakova.
Of these inspections, 16 work bans, 11 remarks, as well as 10 cases without warning, have been undertaken, while no work permits reported in this period.
At the municipal level, 11 inspections were conducted in Podujevo, in Drenas as well as 11, while in Gjakova 16 inspections.
According to data, various violations have been recorded in some cases for which inspectors have taken measures in accordance with the law.
The inspector has indicated that such shares will continue in the coming days, aimed at increasing security in workplaces and respecting legal standards in dangerous sectors.
