At today's session, the final words of the defenders of the accused have begun to be heard.
Prior to the trial panel has initiated his statements, Blagoje Spasojevicqi's lawyer, lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic, who is trying to acquit the three accused.
“How it is possible to appeal to the court for the respect of all legal rights of the defendants, while at the same time speaking of the prosecution and the severest possible sentence”, he has declared.
Blagoje Spasojevich, Vladimir Toliq and Dusan Maksimovic are accused of the September 24th terrorist attack of 2023, where Sergeant Africa Bulnjak was killed.
In his statements, before the court, Special Prosecutor Naim Abazi has sought life imprisonment for the accused.
He has said it has proved the same have had knowledge and role in the development of this attack aimed at annexing Kosovo's north.
