At the Government meeting held Monday, Kurti has declared that the country is approaching a constitutional deadline, stressing that early parliamentary elections are not an option and that the election of the president remains the constitutional duty of the people's elected.
He has stressed that this situation requires will for solution and political compromise, adding that no party can claim the security of 80 or more MPs, and that discussions should be held on the basis of the country's election outcome and interest.
Kurti has stressed that Kosovo needs institutional stability and predictability, remembering that citizens have voted on December 28th for a four-year term and that the government will soon bring the governing programme 2026-2030 for approval.
