The Kosovo government at its 11th meeting has approved the proposal for change and completion of the decision on the appointment of the Board of Directors of the Central Public Company “Kosovo Telekom”.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that the chairman of this board has been named Shaban Neziri.
For leaders of this board, Shaban Neziri” is proposed, he said.
His proposal later received the ministers' vote.
This is the third public company in which Shaban Neziri is named while power belongs to the Vetevendosje (LVV) Movement.
In 24.04.2025, Shaban Neziri was named chief executive chief at the Board of System Operators, Transitions and the Kosovo Electricity Market (KOSTT).
That decision had come after the dismissal of Chief Evenar Zeqiri on the same day.
In contrast, in 10.08.22, the Kosovo government, led by Albin Kurti, had named Nezir at the new Kosovo Public Trade Board of Central Public Railways “Trainkos”.
He was among the six board members of this company.
Neziri had joined the Vetevendosje Movement in September 2018.
He was presented as the new party release by the party's deputy, Valon Ramadani.
In a pronomation for Kalxo, Shaban Neziri himself had said he was appointed board member at “Traincos”, but had denied to be part of the party which rules with the country.
No, I'm not, I'm not now. Then it was 2018. Because of some health problems, I am no longer” was briefly declared Neziri.
