The annual declaration has started on March 1st 2026, and until now 1920 officials have been declared, or about 18.5% of the declarative subjects.
The total number of officials subject to this legal obligation is 10,340, which means 8,420 subjects still have to meet the obligation.
APK Director Yll Buleskaj stressed the importance of respecting the deadline.
The timely declaration of property strengthens the integrity culture in our institutions and also contributes to avoiding the consequences and pre-priced sanctions in the event of disrespecting legal obligation”, he said.
The APK reports that contempt, delay or incorrect statements constitute legal violations and could be sanctioned by: Fines of up to 500 euros, presentations of criminal fraud and reference of the case to justice organs, prison sentences of up to 5 years, seizures of undeclared property, by law.
The agency has set up an electronic system for statements on this website: https://e-declaration.rks-gov.net/
To facilitate the process, the password's access and recovery manual has also been published.
The APK urges all declarative subjects to fulfill the legal obligation within the deadline, showing transparency and institutional responsibility.
