Over 10,000 victims from Europe's heat wave

Over 10,000 deaths have been recorded in Europe during extreme heat waves involving the western part of the continent at the end of June, according to data released by Euros. MOMO.
According to European mortality monitors, supported by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the World Health Organisation (OBSH), over 9,000 of the victims were persons over 65 years old, Reuters reports.
