This and that little... Whenever I want it done, it's going to end”, Trump was quoted as saying during a short phone interview.
The conflict began nearly two weeks ago with attacks on Iran by the US and Israel aimed at destroying Iran's military capacities and nuclear programme.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stressed on Wednesday that the joint US bombing campaign against Iran would continue “as long as necessary”, insisting the attacks had caused serious casualties in Tehran's forces.
This operation will continue without any time limit as long as necessary, until we achieve all objectives and decide the results of the” campaign, he said, adding that the Iranian leadership was escaping “as rats in the” tunnels.
Katz added that the attacks would continue in Tehran and throughout the country “day after day, objectively behind target”.
The United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on 28 February, killing its supreme leader and diving the Middle East into a war that is at risk of greater growth.
The attacks came weeks after Iranian authorities hit mass protests, although the United States and Israel say they are not necessarily seeking to bring down the Iranian regime.
Katz said the attacks would continue “in order for the Iranian people to rise, act and bring down this “regime, adding that “at the end of the day, this is something that depends on them”. /Telegraph/
