(an hour ago)Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK) Vlora Citaku has responded to statements by Minister Snezana Paunovic, who has said Serbia would have carried out Kosovo's ethnic cleansing in 1998 if it were in Milosevic's time.
Citaku, in a Facebook post, has written that these positions show that Serbia has not yet faced its past, stressing that the ideology that, according to her, brought genocide, massacres and mass deportations continues to be present.
The problem is not just the past. The problem is that the ideology that produced genocide, massacres and mass deportations has not yet been defeated”, Citaku wrote.
She has said such statements are insulting to war victims and evidence that rumours that deglify crimes continue to have space in Serbian institutions./ Periscope.
