Former Golden Eagle Star football player, American Kinu Rochford, has passed away at 35 years of age after being shot by fire during a basketball tournament in Harlem, New York.

According to reports, the event occurred in the basketball field “Kingdome”, in Lenox Avenue, where Rochford was allegedly involved in a conflict with another person, who then shot him in the head.

After the incident, he was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, but doctors failed to save his life and declared him dead.

Authorities have launched investigations into the full whitelight of the event's circumstances.
