Tahiri even mentions they agreed to go to meetings with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, even despite the insults he had done to the opposition, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope.
“We have accepted the outcome of the December 28th election, we have participated in meetings with Mr. Kurti and why this has not been easy, especially after the insulting language he has used against opposition parties. But we went to those meetings because we thought about Kosovo and not political resentment. We have supported the idea of a consensus candidate from the Jashar family. We haven't closed the possibility of a comprehensive political agreement”.
We have recently offered a limited agreement only to elect the president. So the alternative was from us as the PDK. The solution was, only their sincere political will was lacking. Or as it were, thirst and the desire for absolute power prevailed in LVV. And we haven't been able to either accept it or allow it, because the damage that would be done to the country was too big”, he said at the news conference. /Periscope
