Six German soldiers injured by lightning strike on the mountain

Six German soldiers were injured after being struck by lightning, German police said Wednesday.
Soldiers, aged between 18 and 26, were being accommodated in a mountainous bivan during a storm in the Garmisch-Pertekrchen district of the Upper Bavaria early Wednesday morning, according to the report.
Five suffered minor injuries, while the other is said to have suffered moderate injuries.
Since it was initially unclear how many people were affected, several ambulances and emergency vehicles were sent to the scene.
All the wounded were taken to the hospital and are expected to be fully healed. Police said there are strong indicators that one of them, an 18-year-old, was struck directly by the thunder, The DPA, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.
