US commits new attacks on Iran, publishes images by 90-minute operation

The United States has undertaken a new wave of air strikes against Iran, publishing video footage from the military operation that lasted about 90 minutes.
According to American Central Command (CENTCOM), the target of the attacks was Grand Tub Island (Greater Tub), a strategic point in the Persian Gulf.
According to the U.S. Army, coastal defense systems, floating missile positions and launching sites on the island were hit during the operation.
The attacks were carried out with precise ammunition, aimed at neutralising Iranian military capacities in the area near the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM also published images of the attacks, suggesting that the operation was part of efforts to protect freedom of navigation and prevent Iranian attacks on commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
These attacks come at a time when tensions between Washington and Tehran have escalated significantly.
Iran has threatened to block energy exports from the region, while the US has intensified military operations against Iranian targets along the coast and on strategic islands of the Persian Gulf. /Telegraphy/
