Three years and nine months in prison and 2 thousand and 800 euros in fines against three guilty indictees, charges of fourth are denied

According to the indictment of March 4th 2026 pronounced by Judge Petrit Noecaj, three indictees were also pronounced the supplementary sentence - compensation for the damage to the Refat Jasic in the amount of 11 thousand and 200 euros (full sum), reports “Betim for Justice“, broadcasts Periscope

The “Justice Vow” has secured the verdict, under which the accused Ajet Red was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison, in which sentence would be counted even the time spent in house arrest and arrest. He was also sentenced to 1,000 euros in fines.

The Red accused also received the supplementary punishment - the order for compensation of damages in the amount of 5 thousand and 200 euros to the injured Jasiqi.

Even accused Xhevdet Cacaj was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison, in which he will also be counted as past time in house custody and house arrest. To him, a fine sentence was also pronounced in the amount of 1,000 euros.

Also, Cacaj is obliged to compensate Jasiche for the damage of 40,000 and 800 euros.

Indictee Idriz Gashi was sentenced to 1 year and 1 month in prison, in which sentence is equally estimated for time spent in house arrest and house arrest. Gashi was also sentenced to 800 euros in fine.

As with the other two indictees, Gashi was pronounced a full-fledged punishment -- commanded to pay the injured Jasic the amount of 1,000 and 200 euros.

If the accused fail to pay the fine, the same was replaced by prison, where one day of imprisonment is estimated for 20 euros in fine. The expiation of the injury is to be paid after the necessity of a 30-day sentence.

The three convicted indictees are charged with paying 192 euros each alone for the judiciary and 20 euros for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.

On the other hand, charges against accused Isuf Thaqi were rejected because of reaching the absolute prescription of prosecution for the criminal offense.

After analyzing the evidence, the Court has come to the conclusion that all evidence administered during the trial is acceptable, that they have logical, time-time links, are convincing and clear, and that they have full harmony both with testimony of the injured and other material and personal evidence.

The Court points out that it has forgiven the statements of the injured Jasic, reasoning that he has been consistent, meaningful, and reliable. It says the injured has stated the same in all phases of the criminal procedure, and that his testimony is argued by evidence that has been prosecuted in judicial consideration.

According to the Court, testimony from the injured also finds support in the statements of the accused in preliminary procedure.

The ruling states that the Court has also forgiven the testimony of a witness to the United States.

For the accused Red, Cacaj and Gashi, after analysing and assessing their declaration and defence, the Court has found that their statements are incredible, contrary to evidence and are aimed at avoiding criminal responsibility. Thus, the Court did not pardon their faith.

Always according to the ruling, the evidence was consistent with each other, and it proves the existence of all objective elements and subjects of criminal acts that are burdened by the accused.

Thus, after assessing all evidence, the Court points out that it proves beyond the well - founded suspicion that the accused committed the criminal acts they were charged with.

The court has found that the three defendants have acted deliberately directly, exploiting the injured's serious financial state, with the aim of illegal property gains.

In the case of terming the sentence, the Court estimates that no extenuating circumstances have been found for the three accused, while serious circumstances have taken the high degree of will on the part of the accused in carrying out the criminal work.

And for the supplementary punishment, it is said that there are amounts that the accused have benefited from committing criminal acts, with which the amount has been damaged by injury Refat Jasiqi.

The accused Arber Gashi, Ajet Red, Xhevdet Cacaj, Idriz Gashi, Minister Berisha, Blerim Thaqi and Isuf Thaqi are charged with the criminal offence, at the expense of the Refat Jasic. For the accused, Blerim Thaqi was isolated, and the same was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 2 thousand euros in fines for “Fajde”. It is also imposed that, after the full might of the 30-day sentence, it compensates the injured Jasic 16 thousand and 650 euros.

To accuse the Minister Berisha, however, the move has been isolated on October 28th 2025. With the conviction of January 13th, 2026, he was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison and 1 thousand and 500 euros in fines.

Meanwhile, for accused Arber Gashi, he attended the January 27th 2026 session.

According to the indictment filed by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, on July 13, 2018, the accused are charged with the criminal offence, at the expense of the injuries Rifat Jasic.

According to the indictment, G.D., it was charged that in 2015, Rifat Jasiq's economic condition had been exploited by contracting nonproperial interest in exchange for money. According to the indictment, the defendant had given the injured 90 thousand euros in interest of 5% per month. While according to the second device, D., it was accused of granting him the amount of 23 thousand euros with interest of 10% per month, and after the injured one does not pay interest in all, the defendant adds the basic debt to many of the 27 thousand euros and the interest of 7 thousand euros.

Defendant Arber Gashi is charged with granting the injured 4 thousand euros on interest 10% a month and the amount of 17 thousand euros in exchange for interest of 10% per month.

The defendant Ajet Red is accused of granting the injured 10,000 euros in monthly interest of 8% per month in 2016.

The defendant Dzevdet Cacaj is accused of blaming the injured in 2015 for 5 thousand euros on interest rate of 7% a month, while in 2016 he is accused of again giving back the amount of 2 thousand euros in monthly interest of 10%. While according to the third device, the same one is accused of charging the injured with 15% monthly interest, for cash given in the amount of 6 thousand euros a month.

Defendant Idriz Gashi is charged with having lent the injured at a rate of 6 thousand euros, with interest of 15% per month, in 2016.

Defendant Progress Rexhepi is accused of giving the injured 15 thousand euros, with monthly interest of 6%.

Ministerial defendant Berisha is accused of giving the injured 15 thousand euros, with monthly interest of 5% per month or 750 euros a month. In addition, defendant Blerim Thaqi is accused of giving the injured 15 thousand euros, with monthly interest of 3 %s per month.

defendant Isuf Thaci is accused of giving the injured at different times the amount of 20 thousand euros, with interest of 5% per month. The accused Qamil Pajaziti, on the other hand, is accused of granting the injured 4 thousand euros, with monthly interest of 7.5%, up from 300 euros a month respectively.

With these actions, they are accused of continuing to commit criminal work “Feideja”, from Article 343, paragraph 1 and concerning KPRK's Article 81.

By contrast, in this case, L.C. was charged, but for the same case, it had stopped criminal proceedings because it changed its life. According to the accusation, he was charged with granting the injured 10 thousand euros with monthly interest of 4% per month, while after paying interest in damages to many thousand and 200 euros, he had increased the percentage to 5% per month, where the same for the period of 12 months pays 500 euros per month in the name of interest.
