Kurti-Orav: EU to take next steps in relation to Kosovo for candidate status

The prime minister's office said that “Kurti thanked Ambassador Orav for his good and correct co-operation, while expressing deep gratitude for his commitment and service in Kosovo since taking office on September 1st 2024”.
Over his mandate, despite numerous challenges, Kosovo's reports with the EU were strengthened. In this direction the prime minister singled out the hard work and dedication of Ambassador Orav in launching the Instrument for Reform and Growth”, the ZKM report said.
Kurti, according to the announcement, stressed at this meeting the importance of the EU taking the next steps in relation to Kosovo in line with progress made to obtain the country's EU membership candidate status”.
“Wishing success in future commitments, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Ambassador Orav for his contribution and co-operation during his mandate in Kosovo”.
