Iran launches attacks on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait following new US attacks

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has announced that it has carried out attacks on American military objects in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to recent US attacks on Iran.
According to the IRC, radar systems in Oman were also hit during the operation, as well as fuel and ammunition depots at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan.
Jordan announced that he had fired four rockets issued by Iranian territory, while Kuwait's army said it was interfering with the hostile air target “” in its airspace.
The attacks mark a new escalation in the clashes between the US and Iran, while Tehran is trying to boost its impact on the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic maritime route Iran considers a means of pressure in negotiations with Washington.
Iranian attacks on US Allied countries in the region came after US strikes on dozens of targets in Iran, including air protection systems, radar, missile equipment, intimidation and sea vehicles.
The US Army Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that Hormuz Strait is an important corridor for global trade and that “Iran does not control it”.
But the Iranian Revolutionary Guard rejected this statement, saying that narrowie “is our territory” and that it will not allow what it called the “illegal American intervention”.
Recent clashes have put the US-Iran interim agreement at risk, aimed at opening the way for negotiations towards the end of the war. The agreement envisioned a 60-day period for reaching a final agreement.
Although US President Donald Trump stated last week that the deal was “concluded”, mediators such as Qatar, Pakistan and Egypt continue efforts to restore dialogue and reach a new agreement.
