AGK and partner organisations will not appreciate RTK director selection

The Association of Journalists of Kosovo, Movement FOL, the Kosovo Institute for Justice and Jurita Kosari have announced they will not assess the process of selecting RTK general director.

According to them, the decision is based on RTK monitoring, where it claims the public broadcaster is facing political pressure, interference in news content and delay in salaries.

They estimate that"Bord of RTK doesn't enjoy the freedom to act on professional beliefs"during the director's election.

However, the organisations stressed that"will continue monitoring RTK meetings", but will not give recognition to the process.
