Turkish authorities announced today that a ballistic missile launched by Iran has travelled through Iraq and Syria's airspace before heading to Turkey's leadership.
Official sources said the missile heading towards Turkey was brought down by an American Navy destroyer in the Mediterranean Sea, which is part of NATO's air defence system, according to two sources known to the issue.
