After further suspicions, suspects have consistently forced the victim to pay various sums of money as interest in guilt, using various forms of pressure and violence. They are also suspected of having deprived the victim of freedom in certain cases in order to force him to pay high interest in the file. The damage caused to the victim, according to initial estimates, amounts to around 700,000 (seven thousand) euros, while suspects allegedly demanded an additional 450,000 euros in the interest of the file”, the report said, among other things.

The Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and the War Crimes of Kosovo, following the development of intensive investigative actions in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, today on the 1603.2026, has conducted a police operation focused on the arrest of persons suspected of involvement in criminal activities related to the file.
The operation has been conducted under investigation into five people suspected of initials: B.C., J.C., E.C., E.K. and E.R., suspected of committing criminal acts “Fide” from Article 331, “The illegal purpose of freedom” from Article 193 and “taskation” by Article 328 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.
According to already controversial allegations, suspects have consistently forced the victim to pay various sums of money as the interest in guilt, using various forms of pressure and violence. They are also suspected of having deprived the victim of freedom in certain cases in order to force him to pay high interest in the file.
The damage caused to the victim, according to initial estimates, amounts to around 700,000 (seven thousand) euros, while suspects allegedly demanded an additional 450,000 euros in the interest in the file.
At the court's order, raids have been carried out at five locations in the town of Prizren, where a suspected person has been arrested, while four other persons are on the run.
Under the State Prosecutor's decision by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, a 48-hour ban has been issued against the arrested person, while investigations into the case are under way.
