Powerful tornadoes and heavy storms hit the southwestern province of Antalya during the night on January 26th, causing chaos in the Kumluca, Finic, Aksu and Manavga district.
In Kumluca, a tornado moving from the sea swept through Mavikent and Yenice neighbourhoods, damaging nearly 100 hectares of greenhouses, roof, solar panels and power transmission lines, causing wide power cuts, foreign media wrote, records Telegrafi.

The head of the Kumluca Agriculture Chamber, Hidayet Kökce, said the storms hit after sundown, sparing residents and workers of possible injuries.
In Finic, a coastal tornado overturned traffic signs before advancing along Yeni Elmalı Street, damaging greenhouses and causing serious damage at home.
And in Aksu, a tornado on the Aksu River destroyed boats worth millions of lira, some crashed together or were thrown ashore, while the structures and scaffolds of the river became refuse.
Throughout Antalya, roofs collapsed under the wind force, scattering tiles that broke windows and damaged solar water heaters.
At Chepez, the roof of a hall collapsed during soccer preparations, avoiding some injuries.
