According to information published by Paris Match, a Colombian family made up of a husband, his wife, and three children worked for the couple from September 2024 to November 2025, without having regular legal status in France. The family was said to have arrived in hopes of a better life, prompted by promises of decent conditions and opportunities to help family members in Colombia.
However, according to the recently deposited indictment in the Versailles Prosecution, reality has been quite different.
The Colombian family members claim to have performed a series of tasks for Lucas Hernandez and Victoria Triay, including security, house cleaning, cooks and babysitters, with long hours of work and without official contracts.
The complaint includes serious charges of exploitation and violation of labour laws, while French authorities are expected to investigate whether there are elements of human trafficking.
To this stage, it is a matter of accusations and claims, while the parties involved have not yet given an official public response.
