Kosovo arrest warrant, why was journalist Artan Hoxha's son arrested in Tirana?

Gary Hoxha, aged about 25, has been arrested on Monday, January 19th in Tirana, under a Kosovo Police warrant.
The international order for the arrest of Hoxha has been announced by Kosovo authorities on 13 January this year.

As State Police in Albania have announced, Gary Hoxha is suspected of involvement in organised crime in the field of human trafficking, reports Paparacy, broadcast Periscope.

Along with him, State Police have arrested Reando Bibe, another suspect in involvement in organised crime.

The journalist, known for dealing with the crime world's and mafia themes in Albania, has demanded that it not be widely declared with the argument that he has not yet accepted the full record of the case.

He has said briefly that, according to him, the case may have political background and that it is being used to hit him because of his work as a journalist.

The Tirana court is expected to decide on the extradition of Hoxha and Biba within a 40-day deadline from the day of arrest.

Within this deadline, Kosovo authorities have the opportunity to submit extradition requests as well as description of the case's basic evidence. /Periscope
