New extension? Until Friday, initial proposals for electricity tariffs surrender

Most recently Friday, the Energy Regulatory Office will have initial applications of sector shareholders for maximum maximum costs and revenues, which are defined by electricity tariffs, on the table. The system's weighted reductions and situations, just when the proposals are made, are viewed as random [...]
At the end of this week, which began with reductions in electricity supply ʹ initial applications will be submitted in the process of annual tariff review.
Thus, earlier next week, the applications of each of the acts for allowed maximum revenues, including KESCO, are expected to show whether a series of electricity price hike will be proposed or not.
The situation -- burdened separately at times when the tariff review process begins -- in the assessment of Ahmeti's Chamber of Commerce and Industry -- is not random.
Reference to company reasonings and blaming one another, Ahmeti doubts the crisis is being used “to make a new increase possible”
When you see this situation what's going on, especially from December onward, these periods that we're never having days of reductions, how many we've got, and how much we've got, you see that here is playing an extremely dirty and secret game to use this period of institutional amulence and total ZRRE death, in this case, and use such a moment and now make it possible<1>, said the Secretary of State of Trade and Industry of Kosovo.
He has no doubts about the demands of licensed companies.
I am fully convinced that all companies will require price increases, of their revenues that will burden us as consumers. And that's not only going down from the energy sector, you see the price of services went up. Growth in one element affects that chain growth that we've said even when the price of 16.1%x1> increased, said Kuqim Ahmeti, director of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
KESCO, whose company Z The RRE has placed the public service obligation as Universal Service Supplier, yet it has not submitted the document with its costs and proposals.
For submitting their applications, the last days of the deadline are waiting for the other officers: KEDS, COSTS and KEK.
“Within the annual process of tax reviews, respectively, the annual adoptions of the maximum allowed revenues for 2026, the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has set the deadline until January 23rd 2026 for the delivery of initial applications/proposations from licensed operators. Until this phase of the process, none of the licensed operators has submitted their application or proposal to the ERE. This is in line with the usual dynamic process, since the legal deadline for surrender has not yet ended”, said the ZRE.
Before the end of Mars, Z. The RRE will review the proposals and decide on continuing with the same or new electricity tariffs, which will take effect on April 1st.
In the past four years, three times electricity tariffs have been raised during the ZRR reviews, for the last time in mid-April last year, prompting numerous reactions from citizens and businesses in the country.
