US Congressman Keith Self has introduced the United States Congress Act for Discrimination Rating in the Presevo Valley, a legal initiative intended to address the treatment of Albanians by Serbian authorities.
News has been made known by the Albanian organization for U n The SA, which has stressed that this legislation obliges the US State Department to conduct an official assessment of Serbia's institutional and systematic discrimination against Albanians in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja.
According to the initiative, the State Department report will serve as a basis for informing American foreign policy and possible diplomatic actions regarding respect for human and national minority rights in Serbia./Periscopi/
