AUV: “Ker” is no longer present in northern Macedonia, animal import allowed

The Food and Veterinary Agency announces the public opinion that, based on official reports of the international systems ADIS and WAHIS, the “Gjuha of Kalter” is no longer present on the territory of the Republic of Northern Macedonia. In keeping with the Law on Veterinary No. 2004/21, is allowed to import live animals of cattle, sheep and goats, as well as products, their byproducts, and genetic material from all over Northern Macedonia's territory.
This decision goes into effect immediately, call AUV.
The Food and Veterinary Agency will continue monitoring the veterinary health situation and regular public information, in the function of protecting animal health and food safety.
