The Badovci Bridge is synonymous with Albin Kurti's sluggish governance. Meanwhile, until the ambitious Pristina-Durra Railway project is warned, the single-line train in Kosovo, Pristina - Peja-Pristina, there's no heat, and economic development “has exploded” everywhere.

The Pristina-Peaj train and vice versa is the only one that circulates to Kosovo. Twice a day, it unites the capital and the western city, carrying hundreds who choose this vehicle for various reasons. The old and slow train connects entire villages of Pec, Kline, Drenas and Fushe Kosovo, and for residents of these settlements it is life itself.

I happen to travel on this line these days. Old vagos, stone - fired windows and, worst of all, a lack of heat. Travelers leaving Peja take two hours to travel to Pristina, as do others who climb to other stations. So the only train in Kosovo operates without heating. A shameful failure of a country that is unable to provide heat for the only train. While officials have a mouth full of progress, economic development and prosperity.

Those puffed up with how they are already building roads and tunnels to connect Kosovo with northern Macedonia are unable to provide heat in winter for train travellers connecting Pristina and Pec. Those who talk of unprecedented economic development finally fixed a 38m - long bridge after 20 months.

The bridge to Lake Badovci, on Pristina-Gjilan Street, has finally been released for circulation. Closed since April 2023, this bridge has become synonymous with slow governance. The contract for its construction was signed early last year, when it was said the work would be completed in 125 days, which was May 2024. But, it had to be expected by the end of the year, so 355 days after signing the contract, so citizens of “see” crossing this 38m-long bridge. Good “Leym” was awarded by Deputy Infrastructure Minister Hysen Durmish.

Before the Badovci Bridge, Albin Kurti's management in infrastructure was identified with the 12m-long bridge over the White Drini River, which connects the villages of Saradran and Ruhot. Finally, the road from Prizren to Prevala and another in the municipality of Dragas has been inaugurated, but roads for Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica, Podujevo, and the Gjilan highway remain unfinished. More than for work, the ministry led by Lieburn Aliu last year has been in media headlines about allegations of corrupt scandals.

But last year, Aliu had said he was working on the rehabilitation of Kosovo's Fushe railway lines. -Kline-Pee of 81 kilometers and Kline-Prizren, 50 miles long. He also predicted that work has begun on the Pristina-Durra railway, which will cost around 700m euros, whose project will be ready this year. But, on train of single railway line in Kosovo, Pristina - Peja-Pristina, there's no heat, and the travelers are coming.

* *

You know, responsibility for the lack of heat on the train power leaves past “regimes to”, as has happened to many other problems. But Albin Kurti and his men have said that they are taking the task of working and not acting like those who were in power before.

Ensure heating on the train is no challenge, but it is the responsibility of a power with over 50 percent of the vote. The hand of power is seen in such cases. Nobody's asking the government to build spacecraft, not nuclear power plants. People's demands are really minimal, like. have electricity. But even for the lack of power, there is an explanation: the current has, but the problem is the distribution system. Or: The distribution system is being tasked because of economic development.

This economic development, which “has exploded” everywhere, would have to affect the everyday lives of citizens. At least reflect on the following train. Some heat, damn it!
