It says: Merro Base
There is a paradoxic media debate near the Kosovo government about the end of patriotic tourism in Albania from Kosovo. Their idea is that Albania is now becoming more expensive, and the Kosovo Albanians and the wider ones no longer come to give money to Albania, but go to Greece, Montenegro, Turkey and so on.
Even more impressive is this Vetevendosje propaganda that Kosovars are now no longer coming to Albania and Albania is dying.
First, Kosovars are cornered from north to south, of course those who are traditional vacationers in Albania and are not listening to Albin as a tourist guide to where they will rest. It is true that this year they are able to go to Greece, and that they do not need visas, but that it is good for them, that they qualify as tourists and easily touched prices and the possibility of cheaper tourism.
This does not harm tourism in Albania, as Albanians of Albania themselves travel to every country in the region for tourism, while here they come from every country in the world.
Our tourism is not limited to the regional market. It was when we were closed, but the opening didn't hurt us, but it made us leaders in the region for tourism. Tirana Airport is the first of the Balkans and it is, of course, not just to bring tourists, but to get out of Albania. But this makes us more developed, not poor.
The only tourist who refuses Albania is Albin Kurti. Even Italy's prime minister, who has the most beautiful beaches in the world, chose Albania on vacation as a gesture of friendship, while Albin regularly chooses Greece. Even his ministers come from him in secret.
Greece is a traditional country in tourism and it's worth going, but Albin doesn't go for tourism, but he enjoys hate for Albania. And there's enough hatred against us for him to feel good.
But a prime minister bears responsibility and the symbol of his acts. Ibrahim Rugova has vacationed in Albania until 1996, until he broke up with Berisha. Later Hashim Thaci, Isa Mustafa, Ramush Haradinaj, and all other leaders -- not only symbolically but physically -- have moved to Albania on vacation. Even having their own quarters here.
To make his battle against tourism in Albania even more ridiculous, he tortures and some Vetevendosje militants, who put them every morning in an artificial lake in Mitrovica, guarding them with police just to show that he has a pool of water and is independent of Albania.
Albania has never had <x0) patriotic tourism” nor does it. It is thus called that most tourists have been from the region.
Albanians from Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, even Serbia, do not come to Albania for patriotism, but for pragmatism. And they do well. They come that it's cheaper than in other countries and they have it close by.
The very fact that Vetevendosje and Kurti now say tourism in Albania will end that they will not come to Albania shows that it was not patriotism, but pragmatism that brought them to Albania. If it were patriotic tourism, patriots are people who sacrifice and come and when it's bad.
The biggest patriotic contribution for Albania from Kosovo would be for Kosovo to become a country as rich as possible. That way they would have the opportunity for more tourism to us and the region.
But unfortunately, Kosovo's prime minister wakes up every morning and gives up a war threat, leaving the country to every investor, putting society under unnecessary malnomological pressure and, of course, not allowing any foreign investor to approach.
So as Kosovo is becoming poorer, where currently the biggest investors are the wedding and target organisers in case of the diaspora's return on vacation, of course there will be fewer people going for tourism.
The other Kosovo investors are all in Albania, not only for the beach, but for business.
So don't worry about those who are upset with tourism in Albania. Each has its own pool where it sinks, balsed it without breaking up any work on Albania.
Albania, of course, will start to become more expensive and qualitative, but not out of spite for Albanians in the region, but because of the pace of development. There are tens of thousands of Albanians of Albania who cannot go to their country's beaches or make tourism because they are unable. Among other things, tourism is a weapon against poverty.
And this is actually the only patriotic battle of Albania and Kosovo. To eliminate poverty from Albanian society, that poor Albanians cannot become patriots, nor tourists. Other Democrats for patriotic tourism are not worth it.
