The Ohrid Framework Agreement, which was signed on 13 August 2001, ended the armed conflict in Macedonia, setting the foundation of a new contract between Albanians and Macedonians as the two largest peoples who populate it in the country.
The Ohrid Agreement was reached after ten days of intensive negotiations, between the main Albanian and Macedonian political forces with international factor mediation ( The US and the EU, represented by James Perdew and Francois Leotard.
But did the Ohrid Agreement bring what was due to Albanians? Of course not! The National Liberation Army war had high goals and rights for the national and state-building interests of Albanians in Macedonia.
A promotion of the position and rights of Albanians in Macedonia was reached at the negotiating table, but the political awareness of Albanian party leaders in Macedonia is lacking, to insist on the demand for domestic political-juridical and territorial arrangement (the federal concept of Northern Macedonia) with two federal entities; one Albanian and the other Macedonian.
But all this does not mean that the request for federalisation of northern Macedonia cannot be reopened as a political and peaceful agreement between Macedonians and Albanians.
Federalization means the political-juridical arrangement of a unitary state in a federal model. Federalisation aims to grant regions more autonomy by the central government.
The creation of two federal (ententity) units within North Macedonia:
The entity of Albanians with parliament and government (with autonomous competencies in its scope) on administrative territory with Albanian populations and
Macedonian entity also with parliament and government on Macedonian majority administrative territory.
Of course, both entities would be represented according to ethnic quotas, even in the parliament and central government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
A division of territorial-administration lines that would result directly and in principle would be correct with a 50 percent reconfiguration of 50 percent.
The good basis for rediagnosing the territorial lines of the two entities would be the data of the Ottoman defteres on the catatral parcels of the Ottoman Empire's time period.
Of course, the federalisation model would be the most rational and optimial solution, but healthier for both peoples in northern Macedonia -- Macedonians and Albanians -- that would imply strengthening the stability and peace not only of Northern Macedonia but also of the entire region.
But can there be other models and what are possible models:

Belgian model!
Article 1 of the Belgium Constitution: “Belgika is a federal state composed of communities and regions.” But what exactly does it mean? After establishing the Belgian state in 1830, Belgium became a unitary decentralised state based on the French model. French was national. However, flamingos made up most Belgian inhabitants. In the flaming movement, they fought for equal status of Dutch and German languages almost since the founding of the state. On the other hand, during that time the foundation of peaceful coexistence was laid between the flags and the wave. In 1962-1963 Belgium was divided into four language areas. Later, in the early 1970 ' s, the country was federalised in phases. The process of federalisation in Belgium has continued since the first state reform in 1968-1971 and thus far cannot be considered complete.

Northern Ireland Model:
Belfast's agreement, or as it is known as the “Good Promise”, was signed in April 1998, ending conflicts between opposing sides in Northern Ireland.
Belfast's agreement was reached after three decades of conflict. The agreement established new agreement on power sharing, including executive and assembly, and was based on a set of fundamental principles, including the equality of both communities' assessment, the principle of consent supporting the constitutional status of Northern Ireland and the right of the people of Northern Ireland to identify and accept as British or Irish, or both, and have British and Irish citizenship.
New cross-border institutions involving the Republic of Ireland to deal with such issues as agriculture and health. The Republic of Ireland removed its constitutional requirement in the six circuits that form Northern Ireland.

Northern Macedonia has been a member of NATO since March 27th 2020 and has been a candidate for membership at the European Union (UE) since 2005.

Northern Macedonia is one of the worst economies in Europe and is going through a transformation process, both economically and politically. The country is facing high unemployment rates and poor infrastructure. In Northern Macedonia's economy, food and tobacco industry mostly stands out, as well as iron and steel production
Geopolitically and geostrategicly,

Northern Macedonia plays a pronounced role because with its position as a continental country in the middle of the Balkan peninsula, and as a bridge with different parts of the peninsula (transbal ties). Especially important is the connection between the north-south and the Vardar Valley.

Since the anticity, part of Macedonia's territory was part of a people of Thracian origin, as well as a large part was of Iliria and Dardania, which were inhabited by Illyrian tribes.
What is the number of Albanians in northern Macedonia and why the Macedonian side “looks at” the number of Albanians!
Three years ago Deputy Interior Minister Agim Nuhiu had declared that 30.4% of Macedonia's passport owners are Albanians.
“Citizenship is not the status that determines the ethnic affiliation of citizens, but their state belonging” had he said.
Taking into account the number of Albanian exiles from Northern Macedonia to Western countries, but even wider in other parts of the world turns out that the number of Albanians in northern Macedonia is evidently greater (35-40%). Official policy in Northern Macedonia, deliberately does not equip them with identification and citizenship, non-resident Albanians and, in particular, the northern Macedonian-born Albanian exile with the sole aim of retaining demographic dominance in favour of Macedonians!
