Hate speech, bitter food for democracy

The assassination of several hours ago against former President Trump in preparation for return to a second presidential mandate has seriously shaken the democratic world. Albania, through all its state protocol officials since President Begaj, Prime Minister Rama and Parliament Speaker Nikola have voiced solidarity and strongly condemned the attack. Even though, this cannot be called any isolated case for the United States, as in its history there are several assassinations against its presidents, some with fatal consequences.

Except the attack has shaken the world for the level of democracy and its challenges in once the absolute model of democracy. Not because even in the United States there have been no strong reactions against the assassination since President Biden and so forth, but because it has highlighted the huge political divide in the country. The current American president's early message: “Trump is a real threat to this nation. He's a threat to our freedom. He's a threat to our democracy. It's literally a threat to everything that America represents”, really shows a lot of where hate language can lead. What it shows is that even right now, the U.S. is deep. American media is highlighting it as a phenomenon. Senator J.D. Vance, once a former Trump resort, blamed the incident by finding a direct source in Mr. Beden: “... is not just an isolated incident.

The central promise of Beden's campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist, to be stopped at any cost. Albania is known for its hate language, especially by politicians in various ways. We have had high levels (not at the top of the state protocol), but deputies and various individuals have faced life loss. To this day, we still have the main official motives for killing some of our eyes, such as Azem Hajdari. Just like the measures taken in today's parliament are quite insufficient to cultivate a democratic culture of debate and the failure of the SP and the DP between themselves. In the report “The Parliament that (s) want: Parliamentary balance 2023. Finding and recommendations”, prepared by the ISP, the distinctive feature of the parliamentary session was the harsh and deignive language in parliamentary legalisation, numerous incidents, and the record figure of MPs' penalities, (63 in two months), the highest in the history of parliament since 1924.

“Dunga verbal and deignive was used mainly by key politicians, opposition leaders and majority leaders, who continued to be the main catalysts of political conflict”, would be highlighted in the report.

In the end, just as American media showed that Trump's bloody ear would serve as a metaphor for the injured and raw state of American politics, disaster for Albania is that we can't learn lessons, where to deliver the language of violence, maybe even now only 8-9 months before the elections.
