Iran attacked Israel.
This is the news of the last two days.
Currently, almost nobody handles Gaza or Ukraine. At least in the major world media, although, of course, there is a direct link between these battlefields. There would be no such news, which only confirms the overthrow of an international order, unless it was the aggression of Vladimir Putin's Russia over Ukraine, which began in February 2022.
The rough work (for a new international Order) which actually started in 2012-2013, mostly due to the war in Syria, the strengthening of China and following a deliberate abstention of President Barack Obama from the world's leading role in America, from 2022, has taken on the form of wars.
Who doesn't know how and when the war will end in Ukraine and what the consequences will be for this state, for Russia and for the West.
Who doesn't know what will happen next weeks and months in Gaza and the newest conflict between Iran and Israel.
In America's election year, when Joseph Biden and Donald Trump (US Presidents of the last eight years) will again face each other in November, it is vital interest for official Washington not to become regional wars, which will then be impossible to control.
The world is truly a step away from the abyss, and in these cases measured diplomacy is the best way to address the dangers unseen in this new history since the end of World War II.
But measured diplomacy is increasingly deficit-defining.
In the case of Iran's symbolic attack on Israel (before all), which did not harm Israel, it was first seen that official Tehran is trying somehow to preserve his face by not risking his head, in case of a major military encounter with Israel.
But secondly, mobilizing all the para-species Iran has in the region (Iran is present in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen), with the aim of threatening Israel, is a clear message from Tehran to Israel and the West.
However, all was missed by Iran, not only because of Israel's military self - defense but also as a result of an interaction of Western states to minimize the damage to this attack.
The U.S. and Great Britain, before all else, want to keep Israel's external security safe (so they are the foreign mumble of this state) and create better political circumstances for ending the war in Gaza, and for a peaceful plan for radical change in reports between Israel and Palestine, with the goal of returning to the model of the two states, which has been abandoned for years now.
Of course, to get to this stage, it takes as soon as this war is over, which, in addition, serves as an excuse for all those who do not want once and for all, to end the huge historical and political conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, and then enter the phase of an international administration of Palestinian territories, which would be accompanied by a military peacekeeping mission.
Many months past, in relevant international circles, are taking Kosovo as a good example, after the end of the war in 1999, when UNMIK (civil mission) and KFOR (military mission) secured peace and stability, to prepare Kosovo for the status definition phase, which occurred in 2005-2008.
On the other hand, what happened to the Western co-ordination for Israel's defence could again be paralleled to the Kosovo case.
The mission of the North-Atlantic Alliance in Kosovo (which was created a quarter century ago) is the foreign shield of security and stability in Kosovo.
Serbia and Aleksandar Vučei himself know this very well.
