From Bekim Colak

The distribution of the Kosovo Assembly and the organisation of early elections are the only parliamentary political parties' commitments in this period. In fact, these appear to be the only topics that unite opposition parties with the ruling party. At least, the definition of the prime minister's statement that “is ready to help opposition parties vote a motion on the distribution of the Kosovo Assembly and holding early elections” may be the only promise it can complete during its mandate. This situation must be clarified very quickly, because Kosovo is currently blocked and under sanctions. Therefore, opposition political parties, which are really interested in early elections, cannot use this situation to try to humiliate the current prime minister by insisting on his resignation, or voting a no-confidence motion against the current government. The eventual integration into this two options of which the opposition party wants is clear indication that they are not ready and interested in early elections. Therefore, the only real and possible option, which en masses even the prime minister's face, but also ensures that early elections are held, is the breakup of the Kosovo Assembly without delay. Everything else is a waste of time at the expense of Kosovo and its citizens. Early elections will have full legal and practical meaning only if they are held within a very short period, on the contrary, this government must complete its mandate until the end.

While the ruling party appears ready for elections -- at least declaratally -- the same still cannot be said of opposition parties. Thus, on one side the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) seeks and insists on the prime minister's resignation as the option for early elections. On the other hand, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo seeks the vote on no-confidence motion against the prime minister and the government. These two options are embarrassing to the prime minister and the government, therefore both, and unacceptable. Therefore, it seems that the burden of reaching a political consensus to enable early elections remains to the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). Under any circumstances, this uncertainty will end when voting for the distribution of this legislature is required. Under any circumstances, holding regular or early parliamentary elections is not far away. Therefore, within this electoral political context, the eyes of citizens, the eyes of voters are directed to political parties and their programmes and promises for these elections. The current bitter reality is that Kosovo is facing major political, economic and social challenges. Kosovo lies under sanctions imposed by the EU and the official relations of the current government with our strategic partners, especially with the US, have scored the lowest and alarming point in our newest history. Therefore, early elections and a new government, meaning a new prime minister, are the only possibility of reflecting a light of hope on the horizon.

At the time Kosovo is governed by a weak government and a popular and demagog prime minister lacking strategic vision, it is vital that we have a stable and reliable alternative to lead the country towards a brighter future. Kosovo and citizens are tired of the current prime minister, who often use popular rhetoric to cover the lack of concrete action. Above all, citizens want a prime minister and government to fix the many problems they face every day. No more time to waste.

By analyzing the current political context and the strength of the four main parliamentary parties in the country, it is clear that the innovation and perhaps the only hope for change is Mr. Bedri Hamza for Kosovo prime minister. Thus, in the heart of the Balkans, a small country, but with big dreams, is preparing for a transformational change. Kosovo, a country with major economic and social challenges, but even with a steadfast people in spirit and ambition, is on the verge of a new era. At this historic crossroads, The PDK has offered an election that hopes to bring a new wave of hope: Bedri Hamza, the man who intends to become the light at the end of the Kosovo tunnel.

Bedri Hamza, who now stands at the Mitrovica wheel, is a prominent leader on the Kosovo political scene. With a rich history as former Minister of Finance and former Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo (BQK), Hamza has shown a steadfast professionalism, honesty and consistency in his work. He is the quiet architect behind many successful reforms that have helped stabilise and boost the country's economic growth at a difficult time. But what makes Bedr Hamzan the right person for this historic moment? It is his vision, which sees Kosovo not only as a country that survives, but as a country that develops and thrives. It has knowledge and abilities to transform the economy, strengthen social well-being and build a future where any Kosovo citizen can feel pride and hope.

Imagine a Kosovo where young people don't feel the need to leave to find opportunities elsewhere, but where they can build their dreams at home. Where entrepreneurs are encouraged and supported, where education and health are priorities and where the rights and freedoms of each citizen are guaranteed. His election as prime minister would be not just a change in leadership, but the opening of a new era of hope, growth and unity for all Kosovars. Kosovo and Kosovars are at a crossroads and awaiting a new journey to bring about the change that Kosovo not only wants but truly deserves. This is our moment to choose the future, choose hope and choose the leader who will take us there. Population and empty demagogia cannot send Kosovo in the right direction. A prime minister witnessed for professionalisation, honesty and dedication to working and serving could do so. But on this new road we have to be together because this alone makes us unstoppable to build a brighter future for Kosovo.
