In the Western Balkans, political landscape is facing a dramatic development: So warned O'Brien about Albin Kurt.

Kosovo's prime minister is losing every day from the old transatlantic partnership.

Meanwhile, in Washington and Brussels, voices are being raised for strict sanctions on his government, enabling it to access economic aid and prevent the extension of Kosovo's sovereignty.

This actually happened. Only the defence minister can be overlooked in the history of sanctions against this government.

In a period when international relations are experiencing major tensions, Kurt's government is facing confrontation ending in sanctions.

However, now, with the achievement of a turning point, the traditional partnership with the United States and the European Union on the road to completion.

In Washington, rumours of sanctions are stronger than ever, sending a powerful message to the Kosovo government: if they do not change their course, they are expected to face serious consequences.

In Brussels, meanwhile, estimates of Kosovo's future integration into the European Union are at the lowest point since the end of Kosovo's war.

The proposed sanctions and possible impasses make it clear that the path towards membership is covered with significant obstacles.

In this context, Kurti and his government are facing an unprecedented challenge: how to maintain Kosovo's integrity and ensure the welfare of its citizens in an increasingly difficult international environment.

In a decision to Kosovo's future, Kurti and his government must take wise and determined measures to avoid a possible political and economic catastrophe.

Meanwhile, in Western capitals, eyes are fixed on developments in Pristina, eager to see how Kurt's government will react to this formidable challenge.

At a time when the Western Balkans are going through a crucial moment, Kosovo's role and leadership emerged as a critical, threatening factor, in the stability and integrity of the region.

If you remember what a diplomat wrote about Albin Kurt.

He had reflected at eight points, warning of what would happen to Kosovo and its government.

His views often challenge the status quo, prompting serious dilemmas about where his policies lead.

Although sentence and debate are clearly lacking within our community. As a reminder of Western reflections on eight issues.

The eight fundamental problems of Albin Kurti, who had earlier written to a diplomat and senior official of a Kosovo friendly country, show how frustrated the situation has been today when we speak.

He had written this:

We are not opponents of Kosovo.

There's no way to say this: Kurti is probably the only Kosovo Albanian politician who perceives the Western Community as an opponent.

Unfortunately, Kurti is also the first Kosovo politician to convince a part of Kosovo's public that the Western Community, including some of Kosovo's main allies, is plotting somehow to undermine Kosovo's citizenship.

It is extremely unpleasant how Kurt's propagandists are slowly removing it from Kosovo youth's collective memory of the crucial role of the Western Community in Kosovo's new history.

The fight against Milosevic's army, billions of dollars for Kosovo's reconstruction, crucial support for Kosovo's independence, and the nation's construction process seems all insufficient to merit Kurti's trust.

Someone must be pretty good.

Kurti did not like President Trump's policy on Kosovo, so he favoured and campaigned for Biden.

Ironically, he is not satisfied even with President Biden's policy of Kosovo.

Kurti claimed Chancellor Merkel supported the autocrats in exchange for stability. Some say he and his men were thrilled with the coming power of Chancellor Scholz.

Kurt is not happy with Scholz politics now either.

Someone must be pretty good!

unnecessary complications only succeed in corroding trust.

With their consent, implementation of the Constitutional Agreement is now an integral part of the road to Kosovo and Serbia's EU membership.

The establishment of the Association of Serb majority municipalities is an international obligation for Kosovo, confirmed even in the Constitutional Agreement. There's no way out.

No game of blaming or fuelling tensions can free the parties from the obligation to implement the agreement.

unnecessary complications only succeed in corroding trust.

A hostage to his design.

The Western community went far further by offering numerous guarantees, in some cases, that it would not allow the repetition of Republika Srpska's scenario or anything else that violates Kosovo's unitary character.

However, we do not need an international agreement or tiring negotiations that last for decades to create an NGO-type organisation. Kurti and other Kosovo officials deliberately neglect that even the existing legal framework provides the basis for broad intercommunal co-operation and co-ordination.

Kurti knows that the Association of Serb majority municipalities must have distinct character and legal capacity and provide a reasonable self-management framework for Kosovo Serbs.

By providing public guarantees that ESM should not violate Kosovo's unitary character, the Western Community did more than enough.

It is not our duty to resolve Kurt from the political plots of his design. This is between him and the people of Kosovo.

Lack of justice, alleged guilt of the international community.

Should we be tougher to Serbia? Should Western Community Policy Be Adjusted?

Maybe.

This, however, does not belong to Kurt and is not the problem of Albin Kurt. Kurt's problem is he should do his part.

Because of Kurt's profound creativity to complicate everything, the process of dialogue was reduced to something that revolved around Kosovo's strategic mistakes rather than Kosovo's needs.

Western inactivity is not the real problem.

War in Ukraine has nothing to do with Ukraine alone.

It's about running the world tomorrow.

If Kurt is our ally, he should start acting like one and not legalize things beyond the description of his work. Every minute lost in unnecessary complications in Kosovo is a plus for our opponents.

Ignoring Kosovo's restrictions is dangerous.

As prime minister, man must know the location and limitations of his people. No one disputes that Kurti is a well - known, varied individual.

However, leading a nation requires more financial and much less arrogance than leading an intellectual debate.

Serbia's democratisation, the correction of the Western community's policy course and similar issues are not part of the Kosovo prime minister's performance description.

Kosovo is not superpower.

If Kosovo does not have a hidden nuclear arsenal, Kurti and others like him should try to locate Kosovo on the world map.

It could be eye opening./albanian mail/
