No one left without being a thief, maybe politics was left in the hands of thieves! ?

I understand that a category of society, especially those who were part of administration and power during the communist system, have been taught to live a privileged life thanks to public functions, benefits, fame, and authority that this system guaranteed.
But today, in a democratic system of free market economy governance, where public institutions no longer offer fame, authority, and no benefit -- except when these come from corruption -- where do you find all this energy to be part of politics and power?
Is it really so important for your personal well - being to be connected with politics and power? Are you so incapable of surviving outside politics and being in power? Or is it simply a matter of corruption, where involvement in politics is seen as a way to provide benefits not only for ourselves but also for family members and relatives who enter institutions through nepotism? There is no ruling politician left without promising pay raise and jobs, and then without putting all of his own acres into the state, giving you tenders and subsidies, using public institutions as a means for personal gain.
Don't you still realize that, for the vast majority, the work in the state no longer offers well-being, but is turned into a form of the guaranteed “fukarlak”? This thought and campaign where politics only serves to create jobs in public institutions to promise wage increases is destroying any potential for economic development and independence.
Did you turn greed and corruption into the only motive, to be in politics and power?
