It says: Shenoll Muharremi
Today the LDK starts its campaign or election tour (front) in Pristina and then continues to other countries and regions. Indeed, Lumir Abdixhiku and their teams have done a good positive job so far with reforms and progress in the party.
Of course, so far there has been a creditable progress, but this needs to continue and with the market of patience and consistency. Nothing is done quickly and immediately, overnight, nor is the party today (old nor others) able to stop.
We are in a long-term process of transforming Kosovo positive when it takes everybody to give me the best of what they can know, after a few years and decades we'll figure out whether this has been enough.
There is no doubt that Abdixhiku deserves to be Kosovo Prime Minister and the LDK to lead Kosovo's government in coalition with other parties. But the same is true of Memley and Bedri Hamza Vlora... and Albin Kurt and Vjosa Osman, of course.
Kosovo needs all and many more now with explosives, but cannot all rule at the same time. We all need to show political maturity and culture co-operation where we bring everyone's best despite the needs of time and country. Whether or not Lumir Prime Minister becomes now or later, it is not a problem.
The important thing is for the positive spirit to continue in the LDK and the quality of political parties to improve to the level that anyone who wins to benefit Kosovo. This will happen when the main parties in Kosovo are reformed and strengthened at least 3-4. And that's actually the LDK management. This is our long-term strategic interest, to have strong functional parties stable.
It is not Kosovo's interest to destroy political opponents or win an election (close short-term approach). Politics is a long-term race of ideas, concepts, causes... A transformation process that does not stop or limit in several months. Consequently, neither the LDK nor the PDK should be pressured by the February 9th elections. LVV probably is, because they're the ones who can lose their support naturally.
I personally submitted the LVV Council and the PDK Convention. Now the LDK has been tracking me and coming back from time to time. The basic idea is that its management continues with reforms and didn't create a project where a party of elections are life and death.
The focus from only elections, to new ideas and paradigms. What can be done to do differently and outside the current framework that Kosovo can use more? Nothing happens for 3-4 months. We can learn from each result and get the best out of it. The important trend is to be positive of party political and economic reform. It measures success or not of management.
We have a political context in Kosovo where LV has won much support in recent elections. This has been extraordinary, but it is not sustainable that it has always happened as a resounding vote and protest against the old estability that no longer exists. That means LVV can't afford the support it has, but it can't fall from 50% to 20%... it takes a time transition. This means that even this LVV will win, according to all odds, but victory will feel like moral loss from Kurti and headship that they are designing a repeat of previous success that is not rational. And where they come up, say 35%, they'll feel they're lost.
In this political and electoral context, the LDK will grow at the expense of LVV and feel like winners. But the vote did not necessarily lead LDK. The causes, the transformation of Kosovo, the new economic paradigms, must be done. If we only follow the votes, we can go the wrong way and end up in populism. The race for salary growth confirms that.
However, if the LDK continues with new reforms and ideas, it creates causes, it should feel victorious with any eventual outcome. Each result of over 21%, in the current political and electoral context, was effective LDK in the February 9th elections. I'll probably get a lot more. But the result, whether it's a little higher or not, will not change anything to the ground. The party must not compensate for long-term standards and political values for any vote more or less.
The LDK is tasked with exploiting its numerous capacities to generate a new model, economic and governing paradigm that creates new economic identity and prosperity for Kosovo. This is her fight with the future. If I can do that, she'll win, win the next one.
But if you focus too much on a set of choices and in a few months, you neglect the long term, the container, the causes, the new paradigm. then she could be deceived after greed for votes and not reach her long-term potential. This is the LDK race... A race with her heart and time.
