Two tombs near and near to Joseph and Kadri in Pristina!
January 17th is one of those symbolic days that left a mark on the lives of the Albanian people. With this day through centuries and various historical periods, some of the figures that are a symbol of the union died and fell. On January 17, 1468 died, George Kastriot Skenderbeu. The Arab prince and the Albanian king with his war, resistance and union that made the heads of Arbri divided cement the creation of the Albanian nation. Without it, his war, the unification of the archorian leaders and the service he rendered to the National Renaissance could hardly be thought of by Albanians today.
On January 17, 1982, Yusuf Gervala, Kadri Zeka, and Bardhos Gervala were killed in Germany. Jusuf and Kadriu as two leaders of various patriotic liberation organisations had worked long and were on the way to unifying Albanian patriotic forces, following the 1981 demonstrations and the great depression that followed in Kosovo and other Albanian areas under Yugoslavia. However, the route of the union conveyed by Yusuf and Kadriu was realised to climax with the joining of all progressive patriotic forces around the Kosovo Liberation Army that, with its war, created circumstances for the liberation of Kosovo and its independence. It was prophetic that the Voice of Kosovo wrote in 1982 on the case of the martyrs being murdered: “Three thousands fell down by”. There was nothing more prophetic to warn the spring of 1998, the fall of Adam Yasar with families and the beginning of the KLA armed uprising
But where are the two symbols of unity today? Divided in the graves were those whose lives had been united in work, effort, commitment, and death. To shame one in Dubovic, Decani and the other in Gjilan. Not only do they have their place next to each other but the two belong in Pristina, along with their fellow Bardechshire. In Pristina, where the central figures of the liberation movement should be buried. Where Rexhep Mala and Nuh Berisha, Fadil Vata, Ali Ajeti, Zahir Pajati and Hyzari Talla, Skelzen Haradinaj Lion, Fehmi and Xhehmi Laddrovci, Muja Krasniqi, Agim Ramadan and Remzi Ademi, Ismet Jashar of Astsar Suli, Gursel and Barjam Syleman, and many other central figures of the movement for the liberation of Kosovo and other Albanian parts. To come and be close to the arms companions Afrem Dzitia and Fahri Fazliou, Ilir Konusevcit of Isa Kastrat, Agron Nighman of Bahri Fazliu. Be close to Adam Demach. Coming to Pristina and having the opportunity to jointly honour all of Kosovo -- all Albanians -- and people around the world who visit our country. Because these figures are not just symbols of our freedom, but with their efforts they have placed important stones on the establishment of mankind's freedom.
Adem Jashar and Prekazi would have to remain intact because of the symbolic sacrifice symbolising the start of the KLA's armed uprising, while others would have to come to Pristina at a Pantheon of the country's central figures of freedom.
