So announce the Public Communication Office: The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Donika Grovalla Scharz and the deputy ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Alyson Grunder, made today hot flowers and placed fresh flowers near the memorial plaque “Kosovo recalls<18x1> in the courtyard of the building [...]
The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspare, Donika Grovalla Scharz, and the deputy ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Alyson Grunder, made today cool flowers and placed near the memorial plaque “Kosovo recalls<18x1> in the court of the Government building, to commemorate and honour the victims of the 11 September terrorist attacks that took place in the United States of America.
He said that today we remember the victims of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks and the lesson learned from this event, with breaking echo in history.
A total of 2977 people died from the attacks that day, including three Albanians: Mon Gjonbalaj, Simon Dedvukaj and Rok Camaj.
At the time, the American administration of President George W. Bush, had vowed that terrorism would never prevail. More than two decades since then, the United States of America continues to advance the global war against terrorism, while many countries between which the Republic of Kosovo is also listed in this common war.
