According to the Kosovo Central Bank (BQK), the country's banking sector over this period has realised total revenues of over 240m euros, while after spending 145m euros, clean profits have reached 96.4m euros.
This high amount of profits, the highest since postwar, is the result of expensive credit and banking services. The average credit rate has reached 6.6 percent, while the average interest rate in deposits is 2.7%. / FO
