Maxhana said that at the time this task force was abolished, there had been reactions of Vetevendosje as well as of embassies and civil society.
The VV as part of the opposition had raised its concerns about the removal of this task force, but it has spent several years and yet the same has not been strengthened despite attempts now on the Special Prosecutor's Bill that is trying to exercise a legal basis, but by turning it into separate investigative units that will serve the Special Prosecution<1>.
When we see how many years have passed, the VV's mandate as a ruling party has been carried out and we have still seen will from this party empower this task of strength. I don't know if there's any additional motives. If we look at the recent actions that have taken place, it leaves room for doubts that there are other motives about the failure of this task force”, Makshana said in Rubik in Klan Kosova.
On the other hand, he said Task Force Anti-corruption is investigating 5 ministers of Kurti Government, among them a deputy minister.
If we see what these ministers are suspected of, we have the case of Finance Minister Iron Murati, who is suspected of stopping his teaching salaries. There's been a criminal charge, and the same one is being investigated. If we see her at Minister Rosetta Hajdari's, she's talking about a misuse of state reserves. It is the case of Hajrula Ceku, who speaks of a misuse concerning a conspiracy, where he is allegedly paying 5 thousand and 550 euros a month, and is suspected of misusing this site”, Makshana said.
