In June 1999, as soon as Kosovo was liberated, I Arben Ratkoceri, Lirim Dullov, Nebi Murseli, Susan Ahmeti, Blerim Rashit, Bujar Idrzti, Saimir Derguti (the most late), Osman Demiri, led as head of a Swiss-financed Kreshnik Aydin project, made a radio-program “Rey” for inciting Kosovo refugees to return to their homeland.
Under Kreshnik's direction, this show was as successful as a beautiful autumn day that same year, top U officials called at a meeting in Pristina NHCR, Swiss and Japanese Embassy.
At the meetings we had with some follow-up at U headquarters. NHCR in Pristina, with an extraordinary matrix bid for our time and Kresnick as chairman, was required to establish on Radio Television Kosovo, provided that in the first six months, in the leadership positions there are none of the former employees of Radio Television Pristina except us and Kreshnik at the helm.
As a witness of these meetings and a party of talks at the helm with Kresnick, which dominated the soft “ ” internationals' ” with the emphasis that career material on us, and especially on Kresnik as leaders, this offer was rejected without hesitation from Cresha, as we called that world. It was this man who by no means agreed to be alone without former RTP Kosovo staff. RTK's first founders.
Kreshnik's steadfast stand, which was the source of intellectual education, professionalism and love towards Kosovo, made us the younger ones to stand behind Kressnik without hesitation and thus became RTK founded the locals or former RTP employees.
From this distance of time, when I recall this development, I am surprised by the dignified, unbroken attitude of Kreshnik that, in spite of material attraction, he did not accept in any way.
I'm convinced RTK would be better, but social well-being and professional career would be much better than ours, and especially Kreshnik's leadership, but prior to that, Kresha chose professionalism and dignity.
P.S. With the passing of time, I may have forgotten one of my colleagues or any details of this development, but the essence is that it's been well-off and fortunately altered and that except Kreshnik that we've conveyed in eternity, most of the others are alive and I'm live witnesses!
