That's why the KFOR Republic” is willingly deploying to Albin Kurti and Aleksandar Vuciq!

Edi Rama today publicly mentioned what might be called the “Republic of KFOR” in northern Kosovo. Urging Albin Kurti to co-ordinate actions with the international factor about the situation in Kosovo, he warned that the Republic of KFOR” could become reality in the north.

It is about the full deployment of KFOR's authority in northern Kosovo, which will make decisions that would dictate Kosovo's policy.

Today, such an act happened. KFOR banned senior Kosovo government officials from going to the Leposaviqi municipality, where the mayor is stuck in the office. They allowed themselves to pass only the Kosovo police unit. If the situation continues as it has started, NATO forces will gradually increase, and international presence will be the only factor that will make decisions.

They have previously stopped Libron Ali, minister of Albin Kurti's government. They can stop Albin Kurt for the next few days.

Albin Kurti's entire political discourse against the West is based on the prenoption that “the implementation” will be a Republika Srpska like that of Bosnia in northern Kosovo. In fact, the US and the European Union have clearly indicated that they will not allow the creation of a Serb republic in northern Kosovo, but on the other hand cannot accept Albin Kurt's refusal to pave the way for the Franco-German plan, which is essential to Kosovo's first step towards creating the Assosion of majority Serb municipalities in Kosovo.

And if this situation continues without a solution, besides international sanctions on Kosovo and Serbia, the main product will be the “Republic of KFOR” in the north.

For this “Republic” both are interested in Serbia and Kosovo political leaders.

Aleksandar Vuciq, who agrees in principle with the Franco-German plan, which is recognition “de facto” of Kosovo, says he did not sign this plan by his own hand, but it will happen.

How will that happen?

Of course, with the international factor being pumped through the “KFOR Republic” in northern Kosovo, which will ensure Serbs that their fate is not in the hands of Albin Kurti.

Albin Kurti, in turn, will not sign with his hand the association of Serb majority municipalities, since he considers it a concession to the West and Serbia. But he's letting something worse happen than this, which is the “Republic of KFOR” in the north. If he wants to do the assisting of municipalities, he will have the chance of the North government and co-operate with the Serbian political factor there, but if he takes over KFOR, he will not even as a tourist will ever step north again, as far as Miloshqi could step in Kosovo after June 1999.

So both, Alexander Vuciq and Albin Kurti, not only do they love him, but they are doing everything in their name to put KFOR and NATO in place for the North, and they're represented as victims in Kosovo and Serbia, saying “we don't blame”, “we can't do it with NATO and KFOR”. That's all their game is.

Except from this game, Kosovo comes out crushed, that apart from losing the north, it loses its alliance with the West, while Serbia comes out stronger, that unless it takes it out of the north, Kosovo, it shows and is humble with the West in front of Kosovo.

So both can push him to power, Albin Kurti as the West victim, strengthening anti-Western sentiments in Kosovo, and Aleksander Vuciq as the hero of Serbs, who did not hand over the North to Albanians. It is not a bit of two hypocrites like them to keep each other in power, maiming Kosovo.
