Already Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti seems to be living in a fantasy world: seeing and thinking things that exist only for him. For example, while accusations and ultimatums stemming from all international powers and media on the international stage mix, he sincerely declares that his relations with the West are excellent and that there have been only some misunderstandings, not governments ( The U.S. and the EU, but only with their followers.
According to many political analysts, however, with his recent actions and his proud responses to foreign representatives, Kurti has finally ruined his relations with the West.
In recent weeks a hypothesis filed by one of the opposition parties for a no-confidence motion against the prime minister circulated in the media. But the hypothesis slipped before it was born, because Kurt's nationalist extremism (a true sovereign politician) enjoys broad popular support that would confirm it again in power in the first electoral term.
In Pristina, however, they must know that if Kurti remains in power and continues his insulting and destabilising policy, the only weapon in the hands of NATO and the EU to stabilise the situation would be the deployment of Kosovo under KFOR military control.
But Kurti forgets, however, that Kosovo is still a territory set up under protection from countries that created it as an independent state and that present military agencies are tasked with preventing any efforts for Serbian invasion and maintaining peace in the area.
According to KFOR commander, it was Kurt himself who has threatened peace on the border with Serbia.
Meanwhile, in the last days of an ultimatum imposed by US envoy Gabriel Escobar, a rescue rope is placing the Pristina government with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is clearly invested by the international community with the role of escorting Kosovo towards the agreement with Belgrade and therefore towards EU membership.
Rama, he sent himself a draft draft draft for the Association of Serb majority municipalities to French President Emannuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, a draft that was long expected by Kosovo Prime Minister.
European diplomacy is now assessing Rama's project, which again offers the Pristina government little time to find a political breakthrough from this situation that sees her shoulder to the wall.
In Mr. Kurt's fantasy world, there's no such thing.
In his imagination there is only one who dominates his country and leads his people against all -- Americans, Europeans, Albanians, soldiers, journalists...
A messiah, a prophet, a charismatic leader who, like Moses, march to conquer... But what?
Let someone explain to Pristina's Moses that he and his men have already taken the promised land and that if they continue to do so, they are only in danger of losing it.
