Serbian List: We will not participate in extraordinary elections in northern Kosovo municipalities

The Serbian list has announced that the Central Election Commission has sent notice to their political parties that from 9 March to 18 March is the last deadline for party registration for participation in extraordinary elections in municipalities in northern Kosovo.

They say only that they will not participate in those extraordinary elections because the demands that have caused them to leave Kosovo institutions have not taken part in any elections until their legitimate demands are met.

“This makes it clear that Kosovo and the Central Election Commission are trying unilaterally to organise elections in northern Kosovo, without respecting the legitimate interests of the Serbian people, against the will of citizens”, the Serbian List statement said.
