During this video message, Kurti spoke of the March 18th meeting, where he cited Serbia's refusal.
At the trilateral meeting in Brussels on February 27th, I offered to sign the basic agreement on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo. Unfortunately, Serbia's president refused. The refusal, he made it public after coming out of the meeting. Next week we will meet again in Ohrid, in northern Macedonia. I hope Serbia's refusal to sign the proposal in Brussels is not an indicator that they disagree with the content. Every day we witness creativity and constructiveity. We believe that the basic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia represents the advancement towards mutual recognition between the two states. We believe that full normalisation of the reports requires such recognition, as the central part of the” agreement, he said.
