Route “4 February” was the name of the road from the Bank of Albania that goes on to the Lana Bridge and then describes the <x2-block to the University-side Guard.

In 2012 Tirana's municipality, led by Lulzim Basha, replaced this street by the name of “Ibrahim Rugova”, while another Ibrahim Rugova route near the Construction Faculty existed. The name change was without question a political gesture, trying to ignore a road dealing with war victims by replacing it with a bright figure of the Albanian nation.

Of course, the way Lulzim Basha chose to name “Ibrahim Rugova” was more prestigious, but replacing the “4 path. February”, created a debate against Kosovo, which toxicizes the Albanian environment.

“4 February” brings us the image of Xhafer Deva, a Kosovo co-worker of the Nazis who has committed a massacre in Tirana and the other, the image of a steadfast Western pacifist, who managed to reverse the fate of the Albanian issue due to the decision that Kosovo's problem solve as a problem of Western standards. Xhaferor Deva has undoubtedly been an Albanian who thought Nazism would solve the Albanian issue, but it was an illusion that came down with Germany and fascist Italy. Ibrahim Rugova is a national personality just because he had the power to discover that the Albanian issue would solve the battle against a fascist regime like Serbia being allies with the West and standards of Western societies based on human freedom and rights.

So “4 February” and “back Rugova” have nothing in common except the fact that both street names bring us overturned images for Kosovo in Tirana.
Erion Veliaj has come up with a “dermatist”, as is his custom, in hopes he will satisfy both sides. A quarter of this road, from the Bank of Albania to Shalvaret, about 100m, where the February 4th massacre originated, has restored to”identity”, separating Ibrahim Rugova from the memory of Xhafer Deva with the Lana River in the middle. So you think it's okay with both sides, but there's actually no two sides here.

There's only one pair that wants to be ignored “4 February”

It is not like he made any gesture against Rugova, as a few months ago he gave Tirana's passport to the entire Rugova family. But, of course, those who worry about why the memory of a war massacre is returning cannot deny the perpetrators of the massacre make it as though 100m of Irbahim Rugova Street cuts.

In fact, the debate is whether to have a path named “4 February” in Tirana. If there must be, it cannot be anywhere but where the massacre occurred.
Ibrahim Rugova favors every street in Tirana, even a part of the most dignified Boulevard or roads. There was no need to be used to erase a painful Albanian story.
But he's been misused twice in this story. Once when he was used to take off the name of February 4th, and cover it with his splendor, and now that they pretend to pity Ibrahim Rugova those who were alive haven't spoken with their mouths.

I think the only mistake is that the “4 street February” and “back Rugova” are continuing each other. But it's not the only case. This is the “Hasan Pristina” cross with the “Ahmet Zogu” and the “Avni Rutemi” with that Toptan. This shows how little history and how much it has with street names in Tirana.

Ibrahim Rugova has nothing to do with the history of Nazism. It will remain the most pro-Western leader of the Albanian world, which in the centre of its cause established fundamental human freedoms and rights. His cause is the most anti-esazifasistic cause in the Albanian world, as he defeated Serbian fascism.

February “4th February” reminds us of a consequence of Albanian Nazism and Nazism, while Ibrahim Rugova reminds us of a triumph over Serbian fascism.
His use as meat for the ball, once to ignore a consequence of Nazism, and once to make Ibrahim Rugova feel sorry is the next misuse by those who never had respect as long as he was alive and fought him as much as Milosevic and at the same time with him. So it is good to silence especially his great hater, Sali Berisha.
