The cruel attack Hamas carried out this week in Israel is again dividing the world into two parts.
One party condemns violence against innocent civilians, while the other side thinks Hamas' terror is justified because of Israel's conquered actions over the years.
But as the world is divided, between Israel and Hamas, the Albanians are divided. Some of their reactions to social networks, including my Facebook page, which at one point was filled with pictures of happy terrorists, were detestable and inappropriate, so at one point I felt as if I lived in the Gaza Strip instead of Albania.

Gaza is a strip of land in southern Israel, bordering Egypt and parallel to the sea, no more than 325 square miles [265 sq km] in which 2 million Palestinians live. It's about a rectangle the size of the area between Velipoja and Shengjin that extends to the ground from Shkodra to Lezha. Imagine that 2 million people on this surface who are not allowed to leave, their food supply is limited, energy is stopped, sea and sky are blocked, and missile houses are sometimes attacked.
This is Gaza. A big prison in nature.

The Palestinians living there are doomed not to move from this iron cage. They are not allowed to use air to fly and sea to fish. The Gaza Sea is patrolled by Israelite military ships that allow fishermen to sail up to two miles [5 km] to catch fish. Otherwise, they are killed, killed, or imprisoned, as has happened in dozens of cases.
I have witnessed this human cage, in which men live to fight and women to give birth to other men. Since these people have taken everything away, they have only one thing left: hate. On Israel's hatred has been founded Hamas, a political organisation that has been armed for years by threatening not only Israel but also the other half of Palestine that is governed by a milder Palestinian party.

This rampant hatred is the weapon Hama's terrorists used these days to massacre several hundred Israeli civilians, many of whom were dancing during a traditional festival, dedicated to friendship, love and unlimited freedom. This festival, called Supernova, was turned into a mass grave where 260 boys and girls were killed and raped simultaneously in front of each other, while many others were kidnapped to be held in Gaza's hidden basements.
Those killed so far are close to 1,000.

This massacre committed with cold blood was considered by most countries a terrorist act for which there can be no two positions. If Palestinian resistance to Israel is legitimate, killing people dancing under the sound of music is terrorism. That's why Hamas is a terrorist organisation CHAka cannot be questioned.
Being against Hamas does not necessarily mean being in favor of Israel. You can be against the two as you can never be in front of both. In the meantime, being anti-terrorism does not mean being against Palestine's right to exist. On the other hand, the right of Israel to protect its citizens does not mean being against Palestinian rights. These are separate and very clear things that confuse only someone who is guided by religious, racial, or ethnic hatred.

Therefore, the comments of many Albanians who have supported Hamas even after they have seen mass killings, the kidnappings of girls and children are frightening and depressing. They force you to think with concern for Albanians.

Even more ugly becomes this justifiable tendency, when it comes from Kosovo Albanians who like Hamas because of religion. Hamas terrorists are not deemed Muslim, but are terrorists. They have been educated as terrorists, and that explains their laughter when they shut children behind bars kidnapped by their parents, or when they force Israeli elders to carry Kalashnikovs on their backs. They enjoy killing and their hatred, not with regard to religion, but with their way of life.

Kosovo Albanians were the target of a terrorist attack a few days ago and therefore the whole world became solidified with them when a Serb terrorist group killed a police officer and probably killed more Albanians if it hadn't been neutralised. Although the Serbs of this group are Christians, they do not differ at all from the Muslim Hamas militants. They are all alike. Paramiles who kill to scare states and societies. Serbs have behaved the same as Hamas, during the 1999 massacres in Kosovo. They laughed to kill. The democratic world did not tolerate them as Christians but punished them for being terrorists.

Albanians have also had a military organisation that has fought for the release of its country. That was UCK. But UCK did not fight civilians, attack them, kidnapped Serbs in concerts, locked innocent children in cages, violated elders, and used no hostages to negotiate. Just the memory of UCK should convince Albanians and especially Kosovars that any solidification with Hamas is a desecration of their fair fight.

Therefore it is not for us to be with Hamas, this sample that was born in Gaza; but it is fed by the hatred of different peoples. Hamas is the ally of all our historical enemies, whether they are feelings of prejudice, tactics, or states.
