Hamas' sudden attack against Israel, which has a frightening resemblance to Pearl Harbor, has divided the world and restored the nightmare of a bloody war, which in turn has religious inspiration, and on the other hand, there is a place that protects its borders and territory from a terrorist attack.

This war if it does not end quickly and if it does not end with a complete victory for Israel, it is at risk that war will completely change our world and our civilization.

Albanians are officially on the Israeli side, based not only on the history between the two countries, but on the principles a country should defend and the community it belongs to as a country that aspires to the West.

It is good that the entire political class in Kosovo and Albania clearly expressed itself to Israel and against the terrorist attack on the state of Israel. It is time for Albanians to be clear on which side of history they are.

But neither will Albanians escape the war without consequences.

The battle between Israel and Hamas greatly reduces the attention and focus of Kosovo's problem, which, fortunately for the past two weeks, was at the heart of international political debate. The spark of such a major and so influential conflict for the world risks turning attention away from the equally delicate situation in northern Kosovo.

So right now, Kosovo, but and Albania, must maintain clarity, for their alliances with the West, in order for any development in northern Kosovo to be part of the Western agenda against conflict.

Above all, the political leadership in Kosovo should not behave as if it is in the center of the world, and as if the whole world owes it to hear small areas that choke its major cause. In this case, it is good to give up hard tactics and anti-American conspiracy theories of an important segment of Kosovo's policy and, of course, clearly add to the position of Albania and Kosovo pro-Israel in this conflict.

Israel is the most important country that has recognised Kosovo in the past four years, and that thanks to US influence, despite Hamas' Allied states that have not recognised and will not recognise Kosovo.

In a way, historical alliances are predetermined. We just have to respect them by already sparing our allies, immature in dealing with the Kosovo-Serbia conflict, risking losing the attention and support of the West.

Hamas' missiles over Israel not only resemble Israel, but also open wounds on Albanians and their history endangered by the Balkan “Hamasi”. But for this battle not to be dulled by the sound of missiles on Israel, clarity and wisdom are needed to act as allies of a war that has just begun.
